About Us

The Morton Deutsch-International Center for Cooperation and Conflict Resolution (MD-ICCCR) at Teachers College, Columbia University, is at the leading edge of research on peace, conflict, and social justice. MD-ICCR aims to promote peaceful solutions to disputes through various programs, workshops, and collaborative initiatives, often involving interdisciplinary approaches. The center works with individuals, organizations, and communities to develop skills and strategies for effective conflict management.

Available to you on our CIQ site are a series of original survey tools for assessing conflict styles, emotional reactions, and conflict and justice climates in organizations. These assessments are based on decades of research at the MD-ICCCR, and they approach conflict intelligence (CIQ) in various ways.
